X-ray Component Counter
As a continuous effort to revolutionize electronics production, Price Electronics has deployed an intelligent X-ray parts counter that can verify reels of components in seconds – versus the old way that took minutes! Automated Stencil Printer
Each circuit board has its own precision-aligned stencil, and regular or lead-free paste is applied through it at a specific pressure to ensure a clean solder print.
High Speed Pick and Place
Price Electronics has multiple high speed pick and place machines to ensure smooth production if one line requires service or to accommodate a surge in demand. This “chip shooter” can apply over 100,000 small parts per hour, ensuring accurate placement through the machine’s vision system.
Reflow Oven
The reflow oven is used primarily for reflow soldering of surface mount electronic components to printed circuit boards. The oven contains multiple zones, which can be independently controlled for temperature.
Automated Optical Inspection
When soldering is complete, the board goes through a round of either manual or automated optical inspection, verifying quality in each stage of production, and ensuring the customer receives a consistent high quality product.
Dual Stage Turbulent Wave Solder
The wave solder machine houses a large-scale soldering process by which electronic components are soldered to a printed circuit board to form an electronic assembly; designed for circuit boards requiring specialized components.
Selective Solder Machine
Selective soldering machine selectively solders components to printed circuit boards and molded modules that could be damaged by the heat of a reflow oven or wave soldering in a traditional surface-mount technology assembly processes.
Test Cell/Burn-In Testing
Test cells combine industrial machinery with precision control and laboratory-quality measurements to replicate real-world environments for individual components and systems of components. Up to five certified Price Electronics technicians program and test hundreds of products per day.
Automatic Cut & Strip Wire Processing
As a value added service, we offer both standard and custom wire harness assemblies to integrate with your PCBA and any external devices. We house a dedicated wire harness assembly line that specializes in producing robust, reliable harnesses and cables that can be mounted to the complete assembly or shipped loose for customer installation. We use specialized equipment for cutting, crimping, and fastening cables to ensure repeatable connections that are far more reliable than anything that can be done by hand. Professional wire harnesses add a finishing touch to your electronic assemblies.
